BLACK MARACAS "Crazy Maraca" Black Maracas is a band from Madrid formed when Fran Basilio, Luis BAsilio and Omar Montalvo , members of Los Nastys , joined a friend they had in common , Adrian Martín " Dilly Boy " , to play its acid and bizarre themes uner the name of Black Maracas . His music is characterized by being a mixture of garage punk, rock and psychedelia that gives rise a electrifying and vigorous songs with primitives and abrasive rhythms . They recently released their first LP " Prehistoric Ghost " and this song " CRAZY MARACA " is the first single.

MEXICO CITY BLONDES "Reasons Why" Blush Burger Records (2019) Mexico City Blondes is Allie Thompson and Greg Doscher. The two met in Santa Barbara, California and after bonding over mutual influences, decided to collaborate on a record. Allie was raised on American folk and grew up playing other peoples' music on her piano. Adulthood brought a desire to learn guitar and also a fascination with synthetic sounds and dreamy, trip-hop vocals that she was eager to incorporate into her own compositions. Learning to play guitar led her to begin writing her own songs. Greg Doscher was previously a guitarist in Tripdavon with which he recorded and co-produced 3 albums touring in Asia, Europe and North America with their debut album reaching number 12 on the UK charts. On break from this project, he had been eager to work with a broader range of sounds and Allie’s unique voice proved to be an effective counterpoint to the blend of electronic and organic sounds in his productions. GIUDA "Overdrive" E.V.A. Burger Records (2019) No time to fuck around, GIuda are back! Yes, Rome’s finest exponents of Junkshop Glam and bovver boy Punk Rock, return to the decks, with a cosmic twist. Overdrive (taken from the forthcoming album, E.V.A., released April 5th) is perhaps their catchiest anthem to date, in fact, it’s an absolute stomper! Robert Preston Collum maned all instrumentation on the previous 2 PM records but enlisted band members Grady Walker and Ian Everall for the recording of "DUMP" "Dirty & Stupid" is somewhere in between the affliction of disappointment and the addiction and destruction that come with it. COSMONAUTS "Seven Sisters" Star 69 Burger Records (2019) Calling their distorted, amped sound "drug punk," Cosmonauts are a California-based garage punk band known for their simple, physically powerful songs and punishing stage volume. Cosmonauts were formed in 2009 by guitarists Alexander Ahmadi and Derek Cowart, natives of Fullerton in Orange County. They met when a mutual friend staged a house show and the two ended up jamming together. As Cowart told a reporter, "It was almost the same fashion as when the Clash approached (Joe) Strummer. 'I like you, but I hate your band' is pretty much what Alex told me. I was like, 'That's alright. I hate my band, too.'" ANDY FERRO "Birds" Character Development Burger Records (2019) https://burgerrecords.11spot.com/ferro-andy-character-development.html Nashville musician Andy Ferro has released his 2nf album via Burger Records. The album Character Development was available on Tuesday, January 29th via Spotify and as a limited cassette release. A native of London, Ferro has previously released music with the band Ranch Ghost.Character Development came to exist through Ferro's experimentation with fast recording and production methods. I really wanted to become faster and more self-sufficient in the process of getting music out there for people to hear,so I bought a tape machine and taught myself how to use it as I was recording these songs. On how this process was different than his previous work with Ranch Ghost, Ferro said, I like to be able to write and record at the same time and end up with something useable if I really get into it. It’s usually more about fighting bad vibes with worse ones and flipping the bird at ill fortune, even (especially) if you brought it on yourself.
