Are you right with God? If, God forbid, your soul were required of you tonight, would you be ready? (Luke 12:20 [Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)] ) Have you put your trust in things that are unshakable, or in things that can be taken away? Has your life – calendar, checkbook, relationships, everything – demonstrated the priorities you say you hold? (Luke 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

I saw a bumper sticker many years ago that said, “God said it, I believe it, that settles it.” It may be a nice sentiment, but it’s bad theology. The truth is, “God said it, and that settles it — whether I believe it or not.” God’s truth isn’t based on whether you believe it or not. It’s still true even if you don’t believe it, because God can’t lie. The Shield of Faith is the best protection money can’t buy. You can’t ever take off the Shield of Faith, either. Paul tells us to wear it “at all times.” Satan will never stop throwing his fiery darts at you. Stay on your guard. Trust God and his Word, no matter what’s going on in your life. EPH. 6: 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13

Have you ever considered the songs we sing in our worship in light of God's Word? Let's look at one song we sing, "Living By Faith". Verse 1 "I care not today what the morrow may bring, If shadow or sunshine or rain," "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." (Matthewe 6:34) "Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." (James 4:13-15)

Here are some questions that you must ask yourself and, frankly, get settled. #1: Is the Holy Ghost God? Now, most people would say, “Yes.” They would just give a casual, “Yes, well, the Holy Ghost is God.” #2: Is He in the earth? And again, yes. We preach – I have volumes on this – proving that the Holy Ghost is the part of the Godhead Who’s in the earth today. #3: Is He a person? Is He a divine being, is He a divine “person?” Yes. God wants your worship, but worship does something to you. When I sit there and I say, “I worship You Holy Ghost,” it does something to me – it says to me that the Holy Ghost is God, that He’s a person – and as I’m worshiping Him it solidifies that fact. If you will worship Him, His personhood will be revealed to you. If you will worship Him, He will come and meet you, and you will meet Him; He will look upon you; He’ll visit you.

Psalm 105:4 4 Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.. 2 Chronicles 7:14 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. We are to seek the Lord Yahweh himself. Not for what he can do for us, but for who He IS. And we are to seek his strength, as well. So often we rely on our own strength. My three-year-old granddaughter insists that she wants to "do it myself!" without help or assistance. And that's good, part of growing up. But often, as adults, our pride keeps us from calling on God. Like immature children, we think we know it all. Asking for help would demonstrate that we aren't self-sufficient, and so we refuse to -- that is, until we become humbled enough by circumstances that we are willing to seek Jesus' help when we need it.

Who Is He? 40 Therefore [i]many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, “Truly this is the Prophet.” 41 Others said, “This is the Christ.” But some said, “Will the Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?” 43 So there was a division among the people because of Him. 44 Now some of them wanted to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him. JOHN: 4: 10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

The Anointing Breaks the Yoke “...and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” -ISAIAH 10:27 The anointing the Bible is talking about here is the manifest power of the Holy Spirit. We can learn an important principle regarding how the anointing works by following the ministry of Jesus. For instance, in Mark 5 we see an illustration of the healing anointing in demonstration in the case of the woman with the issue of blood.

He covers us in a blanket of love “How did God do such a fantastic thing as to make us holy in His eyes? Paul says, We who stand before him covered with his love (Ep 1:4). A blanket of love! He drops it over us and then stands back to look. What does He see? His own love! phesians1:1-8 1 Dear Christian friends at Ephesus, ever loyal to the Lord: This is Paul writing to you, chosen by God to be Jesus Christ’s messenger. 2 May his blessings and peace be yours, sent to you from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus also taught about the rapture in even plainer terms. In the great prophetic 24th chapter of Matthew, the Lord spoke about the events that will occur just before he returns. In the last week before he was crucified, Jesus taught his disciples about the rise of the Antichrist, the future persecution of the believers, the Abomination of Desolation, and even about the horrors of the Great Tribulation. In Matthew 24:29

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man will come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done. Revelation 2:23 Then I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. Revelation 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. THIS SAME GIFT, WILL COME AGAIN TO REWARD EVERY MAN. JESUS IS COMING SOON. HAVE YOU MADE READY FOR THE MASTER? HAVE YOU ACCEPTED HIM AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR?

"Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.” (Lk. 9:23-24 TNIV). One thing I have learned in my 46 years of living is that life can change in the blink of an eye. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. It is a sobering reminder that our future plans can be altered by one event that takes less than one minute to occur. Perhaps this is the reason God instructs us in Proverbs 27:1

WHAT DOES GOD SEE IN YOU? HAVE YOU EVER TOOK A GOOD LOOK AT YOUR OWN SELF? IT'S NOT HOW YOU LOOK TO OTHER PEOPLE THAT MATTERS.

iT'S NOT A COVERING OF FIG LEAVES TO TRY TO HIDE YOUR SINS. IT'S THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD THAT WAS SHED FOR THE SIN OF THE WHOLE WORLD.

HAVE YOU BEEN UNDER PRESSURE? HAS YOUR LIFE GROWN DULL? LET ME INVITE YOU TO A CHANGED LIFE BY ACCEPTING JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR TODAY. HAVE YOU TRIED AND TRIED AND FAILED? TRY ONE MORE TIME. DON'T QUIT, DON'T GIVE UP OR YOU WILL SIND.

“When I think of you and pray for you, I keep seeing this image. It’s of the disciples, and Jesus’s mother, Mary, weeping at the foot of the cross. They are huddled together, trying to comfort each other. Trying to make sense of all that has happened. But it just doesn’t make sense. “The sky is black. All hope looks lost. Their dreams have died. It seems that nothing good will ever come from this. “To them, this day, Good Friday, is the darkest day they’ve ever known. “But the one thing that they do not know is . . . Easter is coming.”

In the Light of Eternity –Our personal struggles, combined with all the suffering, evil, and sorrow in the world, can sorely test our faith. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says to not, “look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” In Romans 8:18, the apostle Paul says, “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later” Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
