Plus, Bill Furman, Jim "Chet" Chesko and Bob "Boop" Vetrone Jr. make their Week 18 NFL predictions and we squeeze in some Sixers and CFP championship talk, too.

Of course there will be plenty of talk about the Eagles and their playoff prospects, but also this week Bill and Chet will reflect on the past year on the Philly sports scene with long-time Inquirer columnist Frank Fitzpatrick. Plus, Philly Sports Trips President Vince Rizzuto stops by to tell us about some cool trips coming up soon and what's planned for 2022. Also, we give our thoughts on the great John Madden (R.i.P., Coach!) and Bill makes his CFP championship prediction!

On our Christmas week edition of Philly Pressbox Radio, former Eagles receiver Fred Barnett makes his annual visit -- always fun! This time, "Arkansas Fred" helps us recap the Birds' Tuesday night win over the visiting Washington Football Team and discusses what's ahead for the Eagles, plus much more. Also, the latest on the up-and-down Sixers ... and the NHL's decision to hit the pause button on the season for a week amid more Covid outbreaks. Of course, you'll get our picks for key Week 16 NFC games ... and a holiday-themed "Random Chet" segment, too!

The Eagles are coming off a horrible loss, the Flyers have hit the skids, the 76ers are scuffling, and the Phillies have yet to make any major offseason moves ... with a baseball lockout looming to boot. But, hey, the Philadelphia Union is heading to the MLS Eastern Conference final! On this week's show, a visit from Mark Eckel, who covered the Eagles for more than 30 years. (These days he roots for and writes stuff about the Green Bay Packers!) The 76ers are "thankful" that their West Coast trip is almost over; we talk all-things Sixers with Inquirer.com beat reporter Keith Pompey. Of course, there's lots to discuss about the resurgent Eagles, too -- the Birds now just a half-game out of the final NFC wild-card spot heading into a Week 12 matchup against the Giants at Met Life Stadium. Bill and Chet also squeeze in some Flyers talk and debate Jimmy Rollins' Hall of Fame worthiness ... and the guys make their predictions for some of the week's key NFC contests.
