For the first time, Philly Pressbox Radio takes its show on the road! Bill Furman, Jim "Chet" Chesko and Fred Hugo invade the Red Lantern Tavern in Folcroft, PA, and talk about the Sixers' recent play, the Flyers' firing of Ron Hextall (and what may be next!), the latest speculation regarding the Phillies in free agency, and - of course - the outlook for the Eagles-Redskins Monday Night Football game at the Linc. The Eagles' drubbing in New Orleans on Sunday was the worst-ever loss by a defending Super Bowl champion, so how will the banged-up Birds (now 4-6) respond? Bleeding Green Nation's Brandon Lee Gowton joins Bill Furman and Jim "Chet" Chesko to talk about this not-so-Super season -- and we'll throw in some 76ers talk, too. (What the heck's going on with Markelle Fultz?) Also up for discussion: the Flyers have an injured goalie (again), and what's happening with the Phillies and free agency? Plenty of Eagles talk on this week's Philly Pressbox Radio Roundtable as the Birds get set to welcome the rival Dallas Cowboys to town Sunday night. Plenty to talk about this week on Philly Pressbox Radio, with the allegations surrounding Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo certainly high on the agenda. In addition, Bill Furman and Jim "Chet" Chesko are joined by Marti Wolever, who was the head of amateur scouting for the Phillies from 2002 through 2014. One of Marti's first signings was Cole Hamels. He also inked players like Aaron Altherr, J.P. Crawford, Aaron Nola and Rhys Hoskins, so it will be great to talk with Marti about those guys, the difficult job of determining whether a high-school ballplayer is a legitimate prospect, and the performance of this year's Phillies. Eagles' OTAs and the NBA and NHL finals are also on the agenda!
