Happy Birthday to Cupcheck and Lt Fork. Show X is joined by our Author friend Jon Wasik to talk geek and his new book, Burning Skies. Having an author in the house, Ken starts things out with a list of some of the latest words to join the Oxford Dictionary, for all of you Grrrls, wearing Jeggings, while OMG sexting your Noob, Muggle, bromancing, Illiterati, boyfriends, wearing their Mankini's and Guyliner, while Chillaxing after getting away from the Po-po, but Whatevs. Wayne is going to try and support his ex family in New Mexico and will miss the next show... To make this trek he has been working on his truck to keep the old girl going. He also enjoyed a long ninja day with training and friends. Ken and Wayne are both back this week. Ken finally spent a week not offending old people but instead reports the bad behaviour of young people. The guys then get into some politics about the recent Brexit vote in the UK and how people should be vetted to vote. He is now coding for curiosity instead of just work and needs to build a new PC. He's been playing some Payday 2 as well as Solaris. Wayne is trying to get fit again, but this time for Cosplay! He spent the weekend celebrating La Camp-Et's birthday, Canada Day, the Renaissance. Wayne is going solo today to try and catch up for the last couple weeks. Happy birthday to Kur0, Wayne's Mom, and Kopii Mom! Wayne helped prep for Denver Comic Con by getting props and wigs for friends together while also trying to get his own costumes together. He shows off pictures that he took during the convention while talking about the fun he had. Lots of great costumes, lots of dealers, lots of friends. Wayne fell into his normal trap of hanging out with friends and not actually going to panels. Wayne continues to play with his Oculus and experience VR. This time he has added the use of his Leap Motion, hand tracker. This allowed him to drop his controller and just play some games with his hands. This week has been the start of the Steam Summer sale and there are some great sales out there to take advantage of. Check them out. Condolences to the victims and families of the Orlando shooting. Ken has been busy this week and is getting ready to Go Ape with his father. The guys take a moment to advise everyone to get out there and exercise. Wayne went out with Sarah to see The Cure in concert. Apparently it was a heck of a show. In Geek Cred, Serathis writes in about his experience watching the new Warcraft movie and playing Doom. Ken has some time to try out new apps on his phone, including how to learn things with Khan Academy. Ken doesn't like to share his Facebook moments though... He did kill a lot of zombies with Hando's help in Dead Rising 2. Ken also binges some Big Bang Theory so much that he now is sad for the characters. Wayne is finally able to see things in VR as he received his new and shiny Oculus. He has been showing it off to as many people as he can to share the VR goodness. Show X's 250th episode. Wayne is fresh back from his trip to Canada and Ken is recovering from a drunken Tankfest celebration. Tankfest consisted of live bands, lots of meat, and a knock off of terrible liqour. He even managed to only annoy neighbors over a block away from the party. Wayne spent a week in Canada at Anime North and with Kopii in the Niagra region. He shared with his SnapChat followers all of his adventures of high humidity, Niagra Falls, bagged milk, and Anime North. The Concours de Elegance car show also happened today and Wayne just barely made it back from the shiny cars in time to start the show. He and Fork are also prepping to head to see The Cure in concert after the show. Ken had the special opportunity to see the new Warcraft movie a week before most of the rest of the world. He watched the movie in 3d IMAX. Overall, if you are a fan of Warcraft, then you will likely enjoy this movie. If you are not, you may be a bit confused. Ken is off this week to help make room for Kur0, Pawz2142, El Camp-0, La Camp-Et, Earthweaver, Da Biebz, and Wayne to talk about their experiences at Gamefest. Everyone talks about the games that were played, staying up too late, drinking too much alcohol, and eating great foods. There were only slight hardware issues that had to be conquered. After throwing money at the problem, Gamefest continued without another hitch. Overall, eveyone agreed that this Gamefest was a huge success. Wayne had a mini family reunion back in Nebraska when he went to help take photos of a middle school state track meet. He stress tested his Miata for this trip and it kind of survived. Wayne also went all Tim the tool man Taylor and ordered a new garbage disposal to replace the one that broke in his house. Ken is stressing out trying to produce some results for his program at school. Kitten Features decided to help him out by getting him a distraction in the form of a Ukelele. Ken and Kitten Features are getting ready to host a party for Tank's birthday, so Ken made sure to avoid pissing of the witch next door. In Geek Cred, the guys try to decide if Big Bang Theory is actually a geek show. Ken Screams for a red head, there is a singing Bear, and no spoilers for Game of Thrones. Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers in the world. Ken didn't anger any old people this week, instead he helped save one. Wayne celebrated Mother's Day with his parents and threw a bit of a party to help celebrate himself turning 40 years old. His guests got to enjoy a Beach themed blow out, complete with food, drink, games, and even a live DJ. Many drinks were consumed, many games played, and several songs drunkenly sung... Wayne received many great gifts, the best being all of the people the came and helped him celebrate falling over the hill. Ken is preparing to throw a happy Tank day to celebrate the year he and Kitten have had their doge, Tank. Ken only seems to find Rule 34 items when searching online lately... Pusser's ponies have seen battle thanks to AgriassSW. Ken also shares a song about his Kitten. Show X is joined by the lovely miss Tehray today as we are introduced to her Cosplay, Geekiness, Gaming and Podcaster cred. She walks us through how she got into Cosplaying and modeling. We get to learn about the specifics of how Tehray cosplays and the characters that she gets into. She tells us about her first console game system and the games that she is currently playing. We get into a discussion about the loves and disagreements between the DC and Marvel comic worlds. We also get to learn about Tehray's current cosplay, modeling, and podcasting adventures. Tehray and Wayne also work together to try to figure out how to bring Ken into the Cosplay world. Tehray also introduces us to a bit of the darker side of her interests. Show X laments the loss of the Artist, Prince. Except for Ken who doesn't enjoy great musicians. Ken enjoyed a Mexican fiesta at a firend's and also a lot of tequilla... but it was in celebration of doing so well on his presentation at University. He and Kitten also got to enjoy some lovely seasoned meat. Wayne went out and watched the new Disney Jungle Book movie. He also believes that he has diagnosed his little toy Miata that had spewed it's fluids all over the highway a week earlier. Wayne has also been busy preparing to celebrate another decade of life being complete. He has also been watching the French show, The Miraculous Ladybug. Our emails this week let us know about updates to Sphero's BB-8 toy and start a discussion on the differences between inexpensive and expensive keyboards. Sorry all, no Teh-ray today as Denver has a winter storm that kept everyone indoors. Ken has been out shooting Pigeons without any health and safety. Then he gets ready to present himself at his University PHD day. And with these accomplishments, he is looking forward to getting to take a proper vacation from work. Wayne was able to rescue his little Miata wiht the help of his friend Schady and a very long and rainy adventure back home. He also just misses out on seeing the new Jungle Book movie from Disney, which he is really excited to check out. Ken has realized that he cannot wear Yellow anything... and has been dissapointed by British television, but is looking to check out Mr. Robot next. In Disfunctional Deviations: Ken was out and about enjoying the rare sunshine in Scotland this week. He needed to unwind a bit and went out for some good ole fashioned meat. He visited Smokey Joe's where he enjoyed some challenging food. Wayne watch the new FPS movie, Hardcore Henry, enjoyed some drinks with friends and a ninja in a play, but suffered a broken car in the process. In Geek Cred: Agriassw chimes into the show again to get us talking about recent controversy with the game Overwatch, almost causing another Your Opinion is Wrong topic. Ken is getting more into his Photography again, he watches more SGU and starts Battlestar Galactica. In gaming, Ken has been all over WoW, Hearthstone, LoL, and Banished. Wayne is excited for something free from Funimation, the new Nintendo social media game, Miitomo, while playing some LoL, The Division, Diablo III, and Black Ops III. Ken makes students feel awkward this week and makes a poster for his PHD. Wayne socialized old school style by jamming out to an 80's cover band and spending an entire day watching classic 90's cartoons, eating cereal, drinking alcohol, and playing in a lube wrestling pool with friends. Agriassw asks, Was sailor moon a strong LGBT icon in the 90's? Show X gets a little Your Opinion is Wrong today by expressing how the guys are highly against the perpetuation of ignorance in the world. Wayne is having some continuing issues with his 3d printer...Thermisters and clogging issues abound. He also made it out to the Clutch Gaming Arena to visit Kaza Yuri for his birthday celebration. He is thoroughly impressed by the gaming setup they have and the pricing they offer. Wayne has finally gone back to trying out League of Legends regular match in Draft mode. Happy Zombie Jesus Day everyone, or for those that are more religous, Happy Easter. Wayne suffered a brief Spring blizzard this last week Wayne gets stoked at having people liking his photos on social media. Wayne took a moment to check out another Colorado convention, this time for Steampunk at AnomalyCon. Wayne and Ken still haven't picked up The Division or Black Dessert, but there are a lot of VtW people who are. Pawz earned some geek cred with VR Pr0n... as he waits for the imminent shipping of hist Oculus Rift. Ken plays some Prison Architect after it has received a decent upgrade. And continues to WoW in order to get the rewards for Hearthstone. Outside of the digital experience, Ken plays some Resistance. Wayne finished watching all of the Marvel content available on Netflix for the series that are out with Jessica Jones and Daredevil season 2. Ken and Wayne are back with only a few minor technical issues this week. Daylight savings time for the US this week, so the show is an hour earlier for everyone outside of the States. Ken is quite against the countries and states that don't go along with changing their clocks for Daylight Savings time. Also a Happy early Pi day. Ken is going to cover a rally in Scotland about United States presidential candidates. Wayne's computer continues to overload itself, showing its age and causing hiccups in the audio stream. Wayne is trying to do a solid by helping out a family memeber and house a dog in his non dog friendly house. He has not had a very fun time of it as the dog has shown its discomfort at his new surroundings by barking almost continuously for several days. This sparks a bit of back and forth in the IRC of the classic cats versus dogs. Pawz writes into the show to share how his new Kindle was forcibly updated to remove the jailbreak he did to change his screen saver. This leads the guys to discuss p

Show X continues to have some minor technical issues, but manages to still provide a full show. One of these difficulties is a young and loud dog in Wayne's basement. Ken is just back from Amsterdam where he, Kitten Features, and his mother took a vacation and tells stories of what they experienced. Which leads to talks about travel and the security systems in place for people to travel between countries. Ken's Mum enjoyed what could be consumed in Amsterdam and Kitten fell, but did not land on her feet. Ken almost has a go at it with two different men, which Wayne attributes to his height. On his trip, Ken also took his mom to the Red Light district whitch leeds to some discussions about individual rights and the rights for free speech, even when it effects others. Wayne and Ken then talk shows and how Wayne tends to avoid the things that are most popular at the moment. Show X wishes both Earthweaver and Pokemon a happy birthday this weekend. Ken is on the road this week and is suffering with poor internets. To pass his time he has been enjoying all of the "Nice Walks" around the town he is in. At least it is quite lovely. Ken laments not having the luxury of a pool at his hotel, so he created one in the room itself. Both Ken and Wayne have booked all of their future travel for vacations and cons coming up and Wayne watched "Straight out of Compton" and helps Earthweaver do some scouting at a volleyball tournament. Ken has found a new band to enjoy, Steam Powered Giraffe and is still spending his geek time playing WoW. Wayne has been joining VtW members, flying the skies of War Thunder and geeks out over some new cameras from Canon. Two big questions this week. It was a long night of gaming for Wayne as he stayed up all night to host an early morning show so that he could be joined by Ken this week before he started traveling for work. If only we could put together a solid show technically... This week we deal with Ken's Mac which means his microphone may or may not work. Ken will try to fix things with money by buying new technology. Thanks to everyone who supports the show. Ken has had an odd couple of weeks including being stalked by an old lady. Wayne avoided the whole valentine's holiday by doing some dancing to piano music, as he is getting ready to try and get back in shape for the year. He is hoping to start eating better and working out more. Ken is prepping himself for a lot of travel time without internets, by acquiring lots of media for his consumption. We will look forward to his reviews. Unfortunately for his gaming offline needs, he picked up Farming Simulator. Ken's Microphone and Camera both start fighting over which gets to use the USB on his computer throughout this episode. The guys marvel over what it is like to interact with really intelligent people. Ken keeps getting stopped at airports. Ken is still out playing World of Warcraft and in enjoying the nostalgia of the game, Wayne and Ken talk about different items they have earned in games that are no longer available like mounts and skins. They also start talking about old collectables and the things they have kept around from their childhood. What do you collect or have you held on to that may actually be worth some money now? Wayne isn't a collector so much as a hoarder that wants to keep everything he has ever bought to share his geekdom with his future children. Wayne's geek cred has him watching The Last Witch Hunter, Spectre, and finishing up The Expanse.
