She became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee in 2006, and is licensed by the NV State Veterinary Board as an Animal Physical Therapist. She joined LVVSC in 2006. I n her free time, she enjoys doing yard work, hiking, and spending time with her husband at their country home, where they enjoy their adopted disabled dogs and cerebellar hypoplastic cats.

Lori's dog Charlie was given six months to live after a spinal injury that had been misdiagnosed as a thyroid problem. Charlie was in much pain, struggling to even walk. Referred to Dr. O by a couple they met at the dog park, Lori and charlie met with her and decided to try acupuncture. 4years later Charlie passed away. However, due to his improvement resulting from treatments with Dr. O, Charlie ended his life in comfort.

Dharma not considered to be as prolific a producer as Tashi had been less traumatized by her time at the mill and quickly adapted to life outside. Tashi however had birthed many litters. As a result, she had no muscle tone at all (even in her rear end), she could barely walk, had chronic ear infections and her feet were splayed. After only six weeks with Dr.O'Sullivan's holistic regimend, Jake & Ellen have watched Tashi blossom into the dog she was always meant to be.
