  • Episode 153: Leveling Your Behaviors

    13/01/2020 Duração: 32min

It's a new year, it's close to my sobriety anniversary, and it's my birthday!  All these things happen within a few weeks of each other.  This provides a great opportunity to evaluate my "bottom line" behaviors, or my sobriety definition, or my Level 4 behaviors, or whatever it is that you call the things you don't do anymore! Many times, at the beginning of recovery, we're not sure exactly what we need to do in order to get sober.  We're not sure what counts or doesn't count as a slip or a relapse.  The reality is that you need to make that determination.  As I just celebrated my 7 year sobriety anniversary, I thought it was a good time to evaluate my Level 4 behaviors.  In this episode, I walk you through the tool I've created and use with my coaching clients to define my sobriety and how that has evolved over time.   Download the worksheet here!

To move to our next level of recovery requires us to be OPEN.  Can't wait to share that with you!

  • Episode 150: The price of Freedom

    07/06/2019 Duração: 28min

We recently celebrated Memorial Day here in the USA. This is a day we recognize all those who have made sacrifices for the freedoms we live with and enjoy. This amplified the recent thoughts I've been having about the price of freedom - not political freedom - personal freedom. In this episode I share some of the prices I've paid for the freedom I have from addiction as well as the current struggle I'm facing to pay the price for the next level of freedom and recovery I want for my life. How about you? What is the price for your next level of recovery? All my love, Amy
