Easter Service 2020 - Audio
12/04/2020 Duração: 26minMany of us had a picture of what Easter was supposed to look like. We planned our day, expected to carry on our traditions and those plans probably included being with others. However, in reality, this year it looked much different than years past. As we live in this world of social distancing, our day might have been a bit lonelier, or quieter or simpler. But despite this beautiful day of celebration looking a little different than we may have envisioned, it doesn't change who God is and what the resurrection means in our lives. Easter may have looked different but the tomb is still empty! This week we take a look at how, despite this difficult season, the Lord is still our help and our hope each and every day.

The Illusion of Control - Audio
22/03/2020 Duração: 31minOur world is living through a time of unchartered waters, much uncertainty, and unknown circumstances. Because of that, we may be feeling out of control. We cannot control what is going on around us but the good news is that God is in complete control. He is not one bit surprised by our circumstances and He is sovereign over all of it. When we feel like we lack control over what is happening, we can respond in a couple different ways. Thankfully, God's Word teaches us how to respond in situations when we feel like we have no control. And His Word reassures us that we can come to Him when we don't know how to respond.
