2013.01.27 Hussite! Last day at Jan Hus Presbyterian Church
27/01/2013 Duração: 25minThese comments are a little longer than usual. Today was my last Sunday at Jan Hus Presbyterian Church and Neighborhood House as Stated Supply Pastor. My comments used texts from Nehemiah, 1 Corinthians, Luke - and The Man of La Mancha (with a little rap included)! It is hard to leave this wonderful group of faithful friends and travelers. Still, the path is the path - and when it is time, no sense messing with kairos or kronos!

2012.10.28 What can i do fo you?
28/10/2012 Duração: 13minToday's comments center around the extended reading of Mark's Gospel, with attention to Bartimeus and the "sight" he received when Jesus asked him, "What can I do for you?" We also read the final verses of Job and his journey - both centering on discipleship and the question we might ask of ourselves: What would we ask for if Jesus asked us: "What can I do for you?" In our closing blessing, we answered the lingering interrogative with the charge to once you know what you would ask for -- have the faith to ask. It's more than knowing, it's asking, as well. The bulletin and readings can be found here: www.raybagnuolo.net/sermons.htm
