It has been said that the opposite of depression is expression, and the thing to express is love. When we’re feeling bad emotionally and/or physically, expressing love doesn’t seem like the reasonable thing to do. However, expressing love brings practical results. “Harvard scientists discovered that you can actually bombard people, situations, and conditions with love, thereby producing miraculous changes. However, most of us, when in the running for a desired position, an award, an acting role, or good news on test results, we tend to outright dismiss Hope. We’ll start by sharing the good news with a friend and then within the same breath squelch our enthusiasm for it by saying, “But, I don’t want to get my hopes up.” Although we’ve been seemingly taught by saying this phrase we’re being humble and respectable, the truth is we’re actually denouncing God, negating our good. We’ve replaced our faith with superstition. Thinking that somehow if we cooperate with the positive stream of life and God’s grace that we will jeopardize it. That’s insanity.
