Sermon 3.24.24
25/03/2024 Duração: 31minPastor Josh wraps our sermon series, The One Anothers. Without regular community, our love for one another and our kindness and service to the community will falter. The rhythm of the Church was always one of meeting together and then scattering out into the community. Gathered and Scattered. But if we forsake the gathering, the scattering will also suffer. We need one another to “spur” us on. It is our tremendous confidence in God’s love that fuels our love for the world. And we soak in God’s love with one another when we gather.

Sermon 3.17.24
19/03/2024 Duração: 30minPastor Josh leads us in our sermon series, The One Anothers. We are a teaching community. God has given us one another in part to learn from one another. Our collective wisdom is far greater than any one of us. We are obligated both to share and listen. Of course this must be done out of a place of peace (Col 3.15) and with an aim to honor God (Col 3.17) and not ourselves. But the idea is that together we can share what Jesus is teaching us and thereby teach one another. Let Christ’s teaching (message) take root deep in your life and share that with each other. This is the heart of worship. I often need to hear you say or sing words I believe but have a hard time believing sometimes.

Sermon 3.10.24
12/03/2024 Duração: 35minPastor Josh continues our sermon series, The One Anothers. In the context Peter is encouraging his church in the midst of the coming “end of all things” (1 Pe 4.7). He tells them to forgive each other, show hospitality, and be of service. All of this is to be done by the power of God. The world can be a harsh place. The church can be a place for wounded people to come and receive “hospitality” (the root word here is the same word we use for “hospital”). Everything from welcoming others into your home to preaching and singing is aimed at bringing healing to a broken world.

Sermon 3.3.24
05/03/2024 Duração: 43minJacob Seay introduces our new sermon series, The One Anothers. In light of Jesus’ “leaving” he gives his disciples two primary sources of strength: The Spirit and One Another. Here Jesus gives a “new” command. Loving one another itself is not new, but loving one another “as I have loved you” is new. Often we only experience Jesus’ love for us when we express it to one another. “By this everyone will know you are my disciples.” This is the mark of a disciple.
