John 6:15-21. Does it seem like your life is about to be overtaken by the problems of this world? If so, let Jesus in the boat. He can calm you and the things around you.

John 6:67-69. So many of the “disciples” of Jesus turned away from Him at a hard teaching, one they either didn’t understand or was offended by. Yet the inner 12 stayed with Him, because they knew He was the Messiah. How many times have you ran away from Jesus because you didn’t understand something you read in the Bible, or you didn’t like they way He answered your prayer?

Luke 18:9-14. In this parable taught by Jesus, we see two men, one a Pharisee and one a Publican, standing in the temple to pray. The Pharisee prayed out of his position, the other prayed out of his sorrow. Which one represents you today?

Luke 17:11-19. A group of 10 people sick with leprosy cried out to Jesus to be healed. Jesus heard their cry and sent them on their way to the priests so they can be declared clean. On they way, as they were healed, one came back thanking Jesus and praising Him. O Lord, let me be that one. I hope that is your desire as well.

1 John 5:21. We are told to flee from idols. We are told to keep ourselves from idols. Yet, many of us seem to do the exact opposite. Many of us run to idols. Ask God what idols have taken His place in your life, and then get rid of those idols out of your life.

James 1:13-15, Job 1:6-12, 2:1-7. Trials are a benefit to your faith. It may not seem like it when you are going through them. Temptations, on the other hand, are detrimental to your faith, and may even cause the end of your faith.

Matthew 4:1-11, James 1:14-15. We can see how Jesus successfully overcame His temptation by the devil. It’s by knowing Scripture. Take some time and just read some of the Bible, see what God reveals to you.

2 Samuel 11:1-5, James 1:14-15. It is at times when we are not where we are supposed to be that we have the greatest chance to fall into temptation. Make sure, each and every day, that you are at the very center of the will of God for your life.

Genesis 3:1-6, James 1:14-15. How well do you know the Bible? Satan challenges Adam and Eve’s knowledge of what God commanded of them and how much God loved them. Don’t let this old tactic cause you to stumble on your day to day walk with Jesus.

James 1:12-15. James teaches us a pattern to falling into temptation. Memorize that pattern so you can see temptation coming.

James 1:12, 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, Romans 8:18, 28. In your own Bible, look up the Bible passages I presented in today’s episode. Do you see words there that doesn’t seem to fit for trials? Words like “light affliction” jump out at me because my trials don’t seem like something “light.” When your trials seems bigger than your faith, it’s at that time to call out to God for help.

James 1:5-8. We all need wisdom, especially when we are going through times of trial and times of testing. James teaches us that we can ask God for wisdom, but there is a catch. Listen to today’s episode and make sure you have yourself set up to get the wisdom you need to live the life God has called you to live.

James 1:2-4. We must allow our faith the grow and develop into the faith God wants us to have. The result? We will be complete, entire. Is that your desire today?

1 Peter 1:6-7. There are a few things we can learn about trials and their purpose in these verses.

1 Peter 1:7. What value do you put on your faith? Is faith even something you have or desire? Peter teaches that our faith is much more valuable than gold.

Acts 24:24-25. So many people today want to come to God on their schedule on their time. When it is convenient for them. That’s not the way it works, folks. So many people run out of time because they chose the things of this world over God. Don’t wait till it is too late. Accept Jesus now, today is the day of salvation.

2 Kings 12:1-3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 4:24, John 14:15. Are you stopping short of doing the things God has called you to do? Are you stopping short of becoming who He wants you to be?

2 Chronicles 7:14. Guess where revival is going to start? Not with Hollywood or the other fruits and nuts in California. Not with our elected officials. It’s going to start with the born again Christians taking the words of this verse to heart and putting them into practice. God tells us, in this verse, 4 things you and I must do if we are going to see our land healed.

Psalm 60:1-4. When David realized the state of his nation because of the sins of the people, he cried out to God, praying for his nation to be restored. We, today, as Christians, need to cry out to God on behalf of the nation we call home. When was the last time you prayed for your country, your leaders, your people?

Psalm 64:1-2. We all face spiritual battles each and every day of our lives. Some of our battles are with the devil, and others are with the people working on his behalf. In Psalm 64, David is crying out to God asking for protection from his enemies.
