Matthew 13:3-9 and 19-23. In Parables The Sower, Jesus tells the story of a farmer who is planting his seed. He teaches 4 different areas the seeds fell, and what the outcome of those seeds were. I believe each and every one of us falls into one of those types of soil. Which are you?

Matthew 13:31-32. Our faith is like the mustard seed in this parable. We must allow our faith to grow, we must not allow it to be stagnant.

Luke 15:1-7. the Parable of the Lost Sheep challenges us to see others in the same way that God sees them. What I mean is that Jesus is searching for those that are lost, to give them forgiveness of sins and a place in Heaven. Who do you care enough for to tell them about Jesus and the forgiveness only He can offer?

2 Corinthians 4:1-5. Am I hiding the message of Christ is a question I ask myself each and every day. the last thing I ever want to do is not share the Gospel with someone who needed the message. Paul teaches us three main things in these verses: 1. What his ministry is all about, 2. That it is an honest ministry, and 3. His ministry is centered on Jesus.

Nehemiah 1. This chapter is a great intercessory prayer example. We see all the elements needed for this type of prayer, so you may want to jot them down in a notebook or piece of paper for future use.

Esther 4:13-17. We are here for a reason. You hear that phrase all the time. Yet, it is true. God has placed you where you are for a very important reason. Part of that reason, I believe, is to be in prayer for the needs of your home, your town, your schools, your church, your state, your country. In today’s reading, we discover that Esther was in her position to help stop an evil plan against her people. When was the last time you prayed for your country?

Acts 3:1-10. Where are the healings today? It’s a question I ask myself frequently. After all, the early church did many wonders and signs in their ministry, and we have few. In this episode, we look at why we don’t see many signs and wonders in our world today.

Acts 2:40-43. In these verses, we see something that I preach about often, and I firmly believe is lacking in our world today, and that is unity in the church. Whether you know it or not, the church is not unified. These verses teach us things about the early church, and how they accomplished so mu, compared to the present day church. We must imitate this if we want to win people for Christ.

Selected verses from 1 Corinthians 14. Today, I look at the question is Tongues for Today? Many people point to 1 Corinthians 13:8 to say it isn’t. When we take time to study what tongues is, I believe that as long as it follows Paul’s direction in 1 Corinthians 14, then yes, it is for today.

1 Corinthians 1:10-13, 3:1-7, 15:11. There should be no division in the church. Yet, if you look at the church today, it is divided. I can’t even count the number of denominations around the world. Do you really think the church is unified? Having divisions means the church is worldly, or lukewarm. In Revelation, Jesus said He would spew the lukewarm church out of His mouth.

1 Corinthians 15:8-10. Paul knew who he was in the past, he knew who he was in Christ. He didn’t let his past failures keep him from doing what he was called to do. Many of us have failures in our past as well, but what are you doing with those failures? Are they a stumbling block for you, keeping you from doing what God has called you to do? Or, are they motivation to stay on track with God to complete your course?

1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Paul presented the Gospel message that he received of Jesus at his conversion in Acts 9. Paul also teaches that the death, burial and resurrection are according to the scriptures. For us today, ALL scripture is relevant and much needed.

1 Corinthians 11:1-2, 4:12-17. In Acts 18, we read where Paul had established this church at Corinth. As a result, he disciple that church through false teachings and false doctrine.

1 Corinthians 11:1. When reading this verse, it may seem like Paul was on some kind of ego trip. But in reality, he was demonstrating something we call discipleship.

Acts7:27-39

Proverbs 22:6. Today, we look at the topic of Raising Kids Right. You are training your kids for something. Is it to play for the NFL, NBA, MLB or MLS? Or are you training your kids to be used by God?

Psalm 150. Today, we will study more about praise. There are several Psalms devoted to praise, and Psalm 150 is one of those. We will discover where to praise God, what to praise God for, and how to use music to praise Him.

Psalm 100. Praise should be at the forefront of our lives, at the every tip of our lips. Need help in what to praise God for, or proper praise? Look no further than Psalm 100.

Proverbs 28:9. Here, we are encouraged not to turn away from following the laws of God. Even in the New Testament, we are called by Jesus to follow His commands.
