Jerry and Becki Falwell failed Liberty University, failed the students and failed God through 7+years of Becki's affair with a man in his 20's through a business relationship Jerry put together with a non-believer, leaving both Jerry and Becki UNEVENLY YOKED. The consequence was a lengthy affair between Becki and the pool boy Giancarlo Granda. Let's be praying for Liberty University, the new incoming President, the student, faculty and staff, Jerry, Becki and their children who have to endure this travesty. Also, let's not forget that any of us can fall into sin and be careful to double down on keeping in the Word of God and accountable to those in our church and the body of Christ. Ancient Sicilian proverbial wisdom says "Quannu u diavulu t'alliscia voli l'arma" which means "If the devil pays you compliments, he wants your soul". In other words, beware of those who are too nice to you. As the son of Mauro Garofalo who was born and raised as a young man in Sicily and my mother whose grandparents came from Marsala Sicily/Italy, I am producing an intermittent series on Sicilian/Italian Proverbs. These are traditional sayings passed down over thousands of years, generation to generation. And I want to share this wisdom with you. Today's Episode is based on the ancient Sicilian Proverb which says "L'amuri e come a Tutsi, nun is po ammucciari" which in English means, "Love is like a cough, impossible to hide". This is saying in short "YOU CAN'T HIDE LOVE". God IS Love and we possess love. For this reason, we cannot hide the Spirit of God which lives within us and we cannot hide sharing God's truth and love with others.
