This week on PodQuest, we talk about our latest book club movie Jaws 3(D), then Walnut has finished his X-Men watch with 2020's New Mutants, and Chris has read through the first 22 volumes of manga series Yona of the Dawn. We also spend some time at the top of the show talking about some recent and upcoming concerts and Walnut finishes things off by finishing up Pacific Drive.

This week's PodQuest is full of movies and TV as Chris catches up on Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 1, Walnut continued his X-Men rewatch with 2019's Dark Phoenix, and both of them saw Deadpool & Wolverine. Be warned we talk spoilers for Cobra Kai up through season 5, and go full spoilers from the get go with Deadpool & Wolverine. Check the time stamps.

This week on PodQuest we have our latest book club discussion on the 1984 cult classic The Toxic Avenger, then Drootin talks about his time with College Football 2025, and Walnut's back to JRPGs with Star Ocean Second Story R. We also have a quick check in with Chris on Final Fantasy 6 and how he managed to not be spoiled on it for 30 years. And we continue Walnut's rewatch of X-Men with Deadpool 2 and some of his thoughts on Nintendo World Championship NES Edition.

This week on PodQuest, Chris and Walnut sit down to chat about Pandemic Legacy Season One, specifically January, before moving onto 2017 X-Men sequel Logan, and the 1994 classic JRPG Final Fantasy VI. And they wrap things up chatting about the finale of Walnut's Mario Odyssey adventure collecting all of the Moons.

This week on PodQuest, we open up with our latest book club discussion on the 2003 cult film The Room, then Chris has been playing Stardew Valley and messing around with mods, and Walnut tried out Cakey's Twisted Bakery. We also spend some time on X-Men: Apocalypse as Walnut continues his franchise rewatch, and he's wrapped up the story in Tribes of Midgard.

This week on PodQuest, Drootin took a trip to Asbury Park NJ to play some Pinball, Chris finished the third book in the Lady Astronaut series, The Relentless Moon by Mary Robinette Kowal, and Walnut finally got to watch Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. We also chat about Chris' thoughts on Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant, and Walnut continues his watch-a-thon of X-Men films with Deadpool (2016). We also take a quick minute to check in on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and wish the best to Sam Riegel from Critical Role.

This week on PodQuest, Chris attended Too Many Games 2024 in Oaks, PA. Walnut continues his X-Men movie rewatch with Days of Future Past, and we chat about his current place in his stream event of Mario Odyssey and where he may go next. Chris also talks about seeing Kevin Smith do a Q&A, and everyone talks a bit about the Steam Summer Sale and other things.

This week on PodQuest, we chat about the 1986 film Labyrinth for our cult classic book club. Then Chris caught up with the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, and Walnut watch the Amazon Prime series Hazbin Hotel. We also chat a bit about The Wolverine and the current season of My Hero Academia and anime as a whole.

This week on PodQuest, we run down our favorites from this week's Nintendo Direct, including Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Then Walnut spent some time with the new Vecna content in Dead by Daylight, and Chris caught up on the Spider-Man: Gang War crossover. We then wrap things up with Walnut's weekly X-Men rewatch, going over X-Men: First Class.

This week on PodQuest we have our final biopic topic book club discussion on the 2011 film Moneyball, then we get into some of the games show off during Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Showcase. Walnut also talks about X-Men Origins: Wolverine as he continues his X-Men watch through, and we wrap things up with a bit of talk about his 3rd anniversary stream over this past weekend.

This week on PodQuest we here some thoughts on Balatro from Droo, Chris went to see Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom during it's limited theatrical run in the US, and Walnut has been watching and chatting with folks about Marvel Rivals. We also talk a bit about music, have our latest book club discussion on the 2002 film Catch Me If You Can, get some very early impressions from Droo on Hades 2, and plenty more!

This week on PodQuest, we have our latest book club discussion on the 1996 film adaption, Romeo + Juliet starting Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. We also hear some thoughts on the Fallout TV series from Chris, and Walnut has been watching the original X-Men the Animated Series from 1992. We also have a little chat about concerts and pick our next book club theme.

This week on PodQuest Chris talks about Spy x Family Code: White the new movie, Walnut played the next chapter of Poppy Playtime, and Chris has been dabbling in the 3D platformer Penny's Big Breakaway. We also hear about Droo's time seeing Sweeney Todd on Broadway, Walnut played some Fortnite, and Chris had some very early impressions on Stellar Blade.

This week on PodQuest, Chris went to Japan and got to check out Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan, Walnut played a ton of games including Pacific Drive, and we have a debate on the values of review scores and how they should world. Plus our book club discussion on Dr Strangelove, Sea of Thieves, and some final thoughts on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth from Walnut.

While Chris is off galavanting the globe, we've got a special episode for you all! A couple weeks ago Walnut GM'ed a play test of Critical Roles new Daggerheart TTRPG system for Droo and Chris. After we ran through the premade "starter" we sat down to chat about our likes and dislikes and general thoughts on the experience.
