Let's open our Bibles to Matthew 19:16-22 We focus so much on what we shouldn't do that we overlook what we should do. Like the rich young ruler, we can be following the rules without following Jesus. If Jesus isn't Lord of all, then He isn't Lord at all. Potential is God's gift to us. What we do with it is our gift to God.

If we are going to get past our past, we can’t just be focused on what others have done to us! We have to take responsibility for the things we do to others. In this week’s message, you will learn five practical ways to initiate restoration in relationships where you've let someone down.

Have you lost your passion for life? Have you lost your passion for God? God created us to experience an abundant life overflowing with passion. In week eleven of This Is us, we will discover several areas that rob us of our passion and discover how to get it back!

The things we dislike the most are often times the things that will help us the most. The same is true in the area of generosity. Our natural reaction is to resist the idea and hold on tight to what is ours. However, generosity is at the core of who God is and it’s a value that shows whether we are fully surrendered to God or not. In week ten of This Is Us, we’ll learn what Biblical generosity is and identify four characteristics found in generous people.

Love is one of the most powerful words, but it’s also one of the most misunderstood words. Especially when we are talking about our love towards one another. In week nine of This Is Us, we’ll discover a powerful change Jesus makes the night before he went to the cross regarding how we are supposed to love others.

What does growing spiritually look like and what does riding a bike have to do with spiritual growth? In week eight of This Is Us, we’ll look at the six stages of growth that help us identify where we are in our journey with God. We will also learn three practical tools that can take us to the next level in our relationship with God.

Have you ever noticed how we have a tendency to cover the areas in our life that we don’t like? We hid our sin. We hide our struggles. We hide our insecurities. But, did you know that covering up our shortcomings keeps us disconnected from God’s purpose for our life? In week seven of This Is Us, we’ll take a look at why transparency is so important in our lives.

Is God more concerned with my heart or how I live my life? We all fight the gravitational pull to mediocrity, but is that God’s will for our life? In week six of This Is Us, Pastor Ryan will talk about the importance of how we live our lives and the impact it makes in our lives and in the lives of others.

What am I supposed to do with my life? Can God use me in light of my past mistakes and shortcomings? In week five of This Is Us, we’ll take a look at the one thing God has called everyone to do.
