In this week's episode I sit down with Mary-Lu Zahalan. Mary-Lu Zahalan is a juno nominated recording artist, she has worked onstage as well as in film and tv, and is the creator and head of the Commercial Vocal Department in the Music Theatre Performance program at Sheridan College. In our conversation today we discuss her experiences in the industry both in film and on stage, her experiences as recording artist, and where she sees theatre in Canada headed in the future.

In our conversation today we discuss how important it is to create your own opportunities in this industry, his experiences working to turn Sheridan's Music Theatre program from a three year diploma to a four year degree, and his work as a director and teacher.

In this week's episode I sit down with Michael Rubinoff. Michael is the Associate Dean of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Sheridan College. He is a theatre producer and a huge supporter of theatre in Canada. In our conversation we discuss his experiences producing shows in the industry, his work with the Sheridan Music Theatre program, and his involvement in the creation of The Canadian Music Theatre Project.

In this week's episode I sit down with Alan Kliffer. Alan is the creator of Kliffer Entertainment and is a director, producer, and performer. Alan is also the creator of both "Mixed Company" and "One Night Only" two very successful improv shows that Kliffer Entertainment produces. In our conversation we discuss how important creating your own work is in the theatre industry. We also talk about where improv fits into Toronto's theatre scene and where he thinks theatre in Canada is headed.

In this week's episode I sit down with Stephen Roberts. Stephen is a director, choreographer, and performer. He spent two years at the Stratford Festival and has worked in the theatre industry all over Canada. We spoke about Stephen's experiences, what he looks for in the people he works with, and he even gave some great advice for anyone currently working in the theatre industry in Canada, or anyone who is about to go out into it.

It was great to hear his insights about the industry, to discuss what he looks for in the people we works with, and where he feels theatre in Canada is going.
