Our economic system is like a snake that must eat itself to survive as long as possible until it ultimately consumes itself. It's deeper than the end of a humane democracy. It's catastrophic death. Every rooftop should have electrical panels to store or sell its excess generation. It should be a national policy. The electrical generation capacity would be enormous. Unfortunately, as with all critical resources, when we turn anything required for our survival to market vultures, a few make huge profits, and it prevents the proliferation of, in this case, solar panels that could save the environment, reduce personal costs, and much more. People die in our healthcare system not because we do not have the resources to save them. They die because the for-profit healthcare system exchanges their life for money. Families are destroyed because we choose to minimize a necessary safety net at the expense of developing children’s lives. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) was not kind to his party, the Republican Party. He made it clear that the GOP is not the party of the future in its current state. Biogen’s Aduhelm’s story, the failure to pass a very progressive Chilean constitution, and Ukraine selling out to the privatization of rebuilding have a central core. These events happened because citizens are misinformed about the reality of these events & how they will ultimately hurt citizens. They are misinformed not because the media is all bad. After all, much of the information we provide has its genesis in some parts of the mainstream media. It is about which stories are highlighted and given traction. Local newspapers are being taken over by news sites that purport to be local news but tend to be wards of a political party or corporate interests. Solution? Independent media. The news model must change, and it does not have to be bad. After all, journalism of the past was very patriarchal, where a few controlled the orderly dissemination of the news for our consumption. So we had the point of view they considered objective and trustworthy. While not perfect, at least they tried to be fair within the boundaries of the country’s indoctrination. A self-policed crowdsourced Independent Media media funded by the support of millions of readers with voluntary contributions and support is the answer. The United States is facing problems it should not have as the most wealthy nation on the planet. It is about cruelty over competence. So far, cruelty still plays a major part in many areas. We must apply two solutions in our quest to ensure all Americans have equal access to success, happiness, and health. First, we must give these people space to articulate their beliefs even as we challenge their positions civilly. Often, you convince them, but their attachment to a false conservative association gets in the way. The second solution is the let them know they can give themselves permission in that voting booth to vote the way their intellect tells them to vote. Only they and their supreme being know who they voted for without question.
