The Playstation Vita was an odd duck. A portable gaming system from a company that had basically abandoned the portable gaming market months before the system hit the shelves. Somehow it still managed an 8 year life-span with a large library of games and peripherals like the Playstation TV. A real oddity this week on VideoDestruct.

Russian developed games, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is a bit of an odd but beautiful duck. High inspirational to the Metro series and the upcoming Metro: Exodus S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a series of games that explores the toxic wastelands of Chernobyl and the mutated depths beyond. We cap off an accidental trilogy of Racing Games this week with the Micro Machines series of games. Not the most popular racing game but certainly a unique take and a staple in the genre since the near start of the industry boom. Sadly the fast talking guy never showed up in the games like in the commercials.

After a technical issue we are BACK with a new episode about the Wipeout series. A fast and furious racing series that has been on the periphery of racing mainstays for a while. Well today we celebrate the history of this series and it's standing in the racing game world.

Burnout Paradise is one of Hoss’ favorite games of all time. An open world racing game? How does that even work. Sure there have been attempts but how to you make a game feel like an open world and keep racing from being pinned into a track? Here’s the game that figured it out!
