Manchester United win 9-0. Eight different scorers against Southampton: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Marcus Rashford, own goal, Edinson Cavani, Anthony Martial x2, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Daniel James. Biggest win since 1995 - though that game against Ipswich didn't have VAR making crazy decisions. Dale had the pleasure of being joined by Ben Thornley for a special interview this week. After shining amongst the Class of 92 and being tipped to become a regular in Sir Alex Ferguson's side, Thornley suffered a devastating injury against Blackburn Rovers. Nowadays he commentates on United games for MUTV and is one of few lucky enough to be attending matches at the moment. We talk a bit about that and how United are doing this season. Manchester United went toe-to-toe with Liverpool at Anfield, stuck the sword in and rode victorious into the fifth-round of the FA Cup. Dale is joined by Mike to run through the game and Jermain Jenas' shocking co-commentary on BBC One. Manchester United won 3-2 on the day and knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup. Goals from Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes sealed the win. Mohamed Salah scored twice for the Scousers. Jurgen Klopp's men were lucky not to have had two players sent off but remember it's only United who get favoured treatment from match officials. Dale and Mike catch up after the 6-2 win over Leeds United. We look forward to tonight's Carabao Cup quarter-final against Everton, and the next Premier League match versus Leicester City on Boxing Day. The league looks promising as it stands but this is where we urge the team to show consistency -- but an away trip to Leicester won't be an easy contest. The Reds were excellent against Leeds but defensive mishaps reappear on a weekly basis. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must raise this with the board and try to sort something out in the January transfer window. The lads agree that Solskjaer needs to win a trophy this season, but we look at where United are after two years under the Norwegian. We've plenty of reasons to be happy this Christmas. We couldn't skip the latest episode surrounding Paul Pogba, which Mike uses to compare the Frenchman to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The Reds recovered from two goals down to record a stunning win at St. Mary's on Sunday. Southampton took a 2-0 lead into half-time but an injury time winner from Edinson Cavani made the headlines. 'El Matador' came off the bench in the second half to assist Bruno Fernandes with a brilliant delivery into the box before scoring two goals of his own in a match-winning performance. Mike's changed his tune on Cavani while Dale continues to push his Ole agenda, which is probably becoming a bromance at this stage. Dale catches up with author and Guardian journalist Jamie Jackson to discuss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.  After writing The Red Apprentice, a biography on Solskjaer, Jackson appears as a special guest on The Strettycast to offer some insight on how the Norwegian operates as Manchester United manager. A lot of United's players will leave their Carrington camp for the November international break, so that means we will be taking a break from the usual post-match show for a week. Bruno Fernandes scored twice and registered an assist for Edinson Cavani as United beat Everton 3-1. Bernard scored Everton's only goal and it was the match's opener, but thankfully United responded the right way and came from behind to take all three points from their travels. It's a tough time for any football fan when the media is speculating over the manager getting sacked, and it doesn't help that Mauricio Pochettino is waiting on the wings for a call from Ed Woodward.
