Justin began his professional comics career in 2005 coloring a Jim Mahfood-drawn story in Speakeasy's Beowulf #7. That pairing would spark a collaboration that lasts to this day, most recently in Miami Vice: Remix, the Marvel Comics one-shot Howard the Human, and the new Grrl Scouts comic that will be released in 2017. Justin has done artwork for Disney, Image Comics, Archaia, Boom! Studios, Zenescope Entertainment and is lead graphic designer for publisher Apex Book Company. Justinâ??s latest book is a collaboration with artist Tressina Bowling and writer Shawn Pryor called â??Kentucky Kaijuâ??.     On this episode of AGP, I welcome comic creator Daniel Leister to the show. Daniel Leister was born in Germany in 1976. He has been drawing most of his life, but didnâ??t get into comics till around his 5th grade year. He moved from California to Maryland with his family, but didnâ??t know anyone or have anything to do. His mother bought him his first comic and that was it for him. After High school he attended the Ohio State University and received his B.F.A. in 2000. Daniel spent many years going to conventions and trying to get a job in comics, but his first break was a talent contest by Marvel at a convention. He came in second place and was offered work by the company After Hours Press. His real break into the professional world of comics came when he was offered the penciling job for the Wonderland series for Zenescope Entertainment. He spent 3 years working on the trilogy and then moved to Hack/Slash with writer Tim Seeley. Daniel is now working on various independent projects Including Lord of G

Though only 21 years of age he has 16 published credits in comic books. He has interned for Devils Due/First Comics. He loves to write sci-fi, horror, and fantasy comics. Austin loves comic books, professional wrestling, anime, writing, rock music, and power rangers. Austin is going to share info on his latest project his Kickstart The Adventures of Punk and Rock Volume 1. The Adventures of Punk and Rock follows the two title characters (Punk and Rock) two screw up space bounty hunters as well as a third main character the narrator. The Narrator not only narrates the comic, but he interacts with the reader, Punk, Rock, and only narrates the comic because he needs to pay alimony to his ex wife.
