We close out our BY FAITH vision series with Paul's extraordinary prayer for the church in Ephesians 3:14-21 and here we discover we can live by bold risk-taking faith for God!

Hebrews 11 tells the stories of everyday people whom God called to live by faith. He invited them to believe, act, and watch him move. We can take great encouragement today from their faith as God invites us to do the same. SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11:1-16

The Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25 is both surprising and challenging as we kick off our 2025 Vision Series titled "By Faith."  SCRIPTURE READING: Matthew 25:14-30

When asked about the most important issues of the day, Jesus reframes the conversation to be about the most important issue of all: the state of our souls. With great love and patience, Jesus urges us to repent while we still can. SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13:1-9

Jesus calls someone a fool, and it’s not because of anything they did... In doing so, Jesus teaches us that every aspect of our life can be given to the glory of God. SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 12:13-21

In this parable Jesus calls out the religious leaders for abandoning God, resulting in His bold claim to be the cornerstone. This was not received well then, how will you receive it? SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 20:1-19

In perhaps Jesus' most famous parable, he lays down a radical call to show mercy to those in need. It's a story loved by almost everyone, but lived out by very few. Today we explore what it looks like to answer this call through the power Jesus provides. SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 10:25–37

In one of Jesus’ most famous parables we see a comparison between a religious leader and one of the most hated sinners of his day. By comparing their prayers Jesus shows us what it really looks like to find forgiveness and be accepted by God. SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 18: 9-14

Jesus’ parable of the wedding banquet shows us that the Kingdom of Heaven is an invitation to a feast we could never earn, but are freely invited to because of His love. The question is, will we reject it, fake it, or truly accept it and come dressed in the righteousness Christ has provided? Jesus tells two short, parallel parables driving home the value of his kingdom. With each story he invites us to reflect on how valuable God's kingdom is, and what our response will be if we see the kingdom rightly. SCRIPTURE READING: Matthew 13:44–46

Jesus tells a story that reveals the heart of the gospel to both rebellious sinners and religious moralists. In telling about two sons and their father, Jesus takes us into the heart of the Christian message and how we can properly relate to the God we call Father. Scripture Reading: Luke 15:11–32

Where is God in our world’s suffering today? Will he respond to the many injustices we see daily in our lives and on the news? Jesus tells us a parable to encourage us to pray and take heart because justice is coming.   SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 18:1-8

After 45 years, the faithful spy Caleb returns to claim his inheritance while Joshua allots the land to the Israelites. But instead of looking to retire in comfort, Caleb asks for a fight because his faith is in the promises and victory of the Lord.
