I realized on a beautiful California day that the results of the 2016 playoff games have made me sad. I make some furniture and watch the Giants lose to the Cubs.

My emotions bounced all over the place in a roller coaster day of baseball. My pick to win the World Series, the Rangers are stinking up the joint. So are my beloved Red Sox. And I can't figure out who to root for in Washington vs. Los Angeles.

I watched the Indians and Red Sox game at the Dutch Goose in Menlo Park, California. There I saw the reverse of the Tyranny of the Save, hated pinch running and met a guy from Massachusetts named Bill.

I make my Wild Card predictions and breakdown my thoughts on the games. I can't believe how Buck Showalter blew it. Meanwhile I existed in a rip in time at the end of the Giants and Mets game.

The post season is about to begin. And with that comes my futile attempt at predictions. This year, I dutifully made my picks. I also compared them to simulating the playoffs on WhatIfSports and also by flipping a coin.

Fellow Red Sox fan and comedian/writer/YouTube star Nick Stevens rejoined the podcast to play a fun nostalgic game. I mentioned each year the Red Sox made the post season that we remember watching and we each said our first memories of that team.
