With spring football wrapped up, we take a look back at what we learned about the Hawkeyes with former Hawk Julian Vandervelde. We break down some of the position groups, the outstanding spring game by Jake Gervase, the quarterback race, and Julian tells us why Brian Ferentz is the right man for the job and has been since he returned to Iowa City. Plus, we discuss the big recruiting news of the weekend with two commitments, plus some hoops recruiting news too. Then we wrap up with Julian talking about his trip to Japan and then we have ten minutes of comic book nerd talk to wrap up the show.

With the spring game on Friday evening under the lights at Kinnick Stadium, Tom Kakert and Matt Randazzo are joined by former Hawk Joe Conklin to preview the action. Conklin also goes in-depth on what spring ball is like at Iowa, the importance of the safety position, and he discusses Jake Gervase, who he coached in high school. Plus we talk new recruiting rules, Kirk being mad about two-a-days going away, and we head to the creepy corner to talk some recruiting.
