TSN1040’s Jeff Paterson joins Donnie and Moj to preview the Canucks and Senators. Jeff says one line-up change you could see is Jalen Chatfield back in after suffering an upper body injury but it’s too bad it likely comes at the expense of Olli Juolevi who just scored his first NHL goal.

TSN’s Jamie McLennan joins Donnie and Moj to discuss the goaltending situation in Vancouver & the fact both Holtby & Demko would like to get into a groove. Jamie also goes around the North Division & reacts to the breaking news that Jim Rutherford resigned as Penguins GM for personal reasons.

TSN’s Farhan Lalji believes there is a reason to be concerned by what we’ve seeing right now from Elias Pettersson. Farhan says because of Pettersson’s competitive personality, he didn’t think he was capable of this prolonged a slump.

TSN1040’s Jeff Paterson joins Donnie and Moj to discuss the Canucks 7-1 win over the Sens. Jeff says he liked what Thatcher Demko did in net & was impressed with the fact the Canucks scored shortly after the Sens did to stop any momentum swing in Ottawa’s direction.

Dean Brown, PxP voice for the Ottawa Senators, says the bottom line with the Sens is that they were picked to finish last in the North Division & there will be more nights like their 7-1 loss to the Canucks.

NFL Insider Ross Tucker dissects the NFC & AFC Championship games before previewing the Superbowl between KC & TB on February 7th! He focused on the Packers' decision to not go for a TD late in the NFC Championship. He also picked Patrick Mahomes to out perform Tom Brady at the Superbowl.

Donnie and Moj are joined by Craig Button.

Craig Button was on TSN 1040 looking at the Canucks current slump and says the defence may need a personnel upgrade as well as a more balanced structure. While their numbers aren't very different from last season, Button believes there's plenty of room for improvement.
