This year promises to be an absolutely loaded show, with Luigi's Mansion 3, Pokemon Sword and Shield, Link's Awakening, Fire Emblem Three Houses, and more all sure to make their presences felt during the Nintendo Direct. But of course, the funnest part of the whole thing is trying to predict what the Big N is going to do! Welcome back to the Cast! It's Side Quest week over here at Zelda Dungeon, so of course that means this show is all about our favorite optional activities in the Zelda series. After (un)comfortably deep diving into Tingle’s Rosey Rupeeland last week, Andy decided to briefly escape the country, so Taylor sets out to find Kevin to help him discuss today’s topics. Breath of the Wild has continued its inexorable ride with a VR element using Nintendo Labo while Kevin and Taylor debate whether VR is a good idea. We spent a lot of our time over the weekend taking Super Smash Bros' newest playable fighter, Joker, for a spin! Do we like him? Who's he play like? What about his stage? In a very special show, Andy and Taylor reflect back on the show's beginnings and give thanks to everyone who helped it along the way before diving into a deep conversation about their favorite game: Ocarina of Time! The fellas rank all the dungeons in the game, plus all the mini dungeons, and even both the N64 and 3DS version of the Water Temple for good measure! Plus, there's a brand new Zelda game! If you didn't already know, the Champions' Cast is all about cheap plugs, and this week we take it to the extreme: we play a game based off our Musical March Madness tournament (which if you haven't checked it out, A) it's going on right now, and B) WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?). We take the bracket and pick our own winners... with some back and forth negotiations in there to determine some winners and losers.
