This week I got around to finishing Tomb Raider, I am on the verge of finally beating Sunset Overdrive and a specific PSN game sale has me wondering about the future of digital game prices on console.

This episode Mike talks about content being locked behind Amiibo support, specifically Zelda, but also touches on Splatoon.  Second Segment he hits on Amazon Prime vs Gamers Club unlocked, and what impact this has on trade in values and the Physical vs. Digital argument.

This episode we keep all retro, we start with some listener feedback, Mike then talks about his west coast vacation and some of the retro shops he visited, and we close with some N64 discussion.

The Oculus Rift and it's consumer release has become the topic of conversation since they announced the $599 price tag.  With this price tag the internet got angry, and people got angry at the internet(people whom are also on the internet).  Accusations of why people were angry got tossed around and everyone pointed fingers, myself included. But, I wanted to at least try to clarify my stance as an Oculus user and early adopter of the DK2.

This episode is all Oculus.  As early adopter of the DK2 we have some pretty big opinions on the commercial release. Virtual Reality is not dead, but it's not a day one adoption for us.

The Retro Jonez podcast was off a couple weeks but this week we come back with a ton of retro gaming goodness.  The episode open up with a big personal announcement, we then move on to the Sega Master Marathon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist, Missing out on SNES lots,  Nintendo 64 and why Mike might not be a fan and Mitch sells him on the amazing games, Dreamcast 2, the Coleco Chameleon, and a bunch of shenanigans.

Destiny 2 can't come soon enough; that feels weird to say barely a year after release and a game I have spent more than 300 hours with.  Recently there have been quotes from Bungie and Activision that are a cause for concern about support of the current release. This could also mean is all hands on deck for Destiny 2.  Bungie wasn't going to be able to support both current and last gen systems forever and it seems this is a period of transition.  I discuss on this episode of Cereal at Night.

This episode Mike jumps into the inability for people to not argues about resolutions or where people choose to play games, then moves on to some PC gaming GPUs and what performance to expect, and the show is littered with references back and forth about the pros and cons of PC and Console gaming.
