February 9, 1964, The Beatles made their U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan Show to an audience of screaming girls, thus beginning the British Invasion. The Chancey Brothers are, perhaps, the quintessential Irish American family band, developing a hunger for both Irish and contemporary music at a very young age. Music and dance filled their home where they learned to stepdance, sing and play a variety of musical instruments. Youngest brother, Bob Chancey, recalls an early fondness for show tunes and Broadway musicals. "Music always filled our home...", says Bob, "...but I always loved the show tunes from Cabaret, My Fair Lady and Oklahoma.” Peer pressure from older siblings, Gregg and Dave, thankfully pushed Bob in a different direction.
