What is the context for using the miraculous gifts of the Spirit?

The world is waiting for the power of God to overwhelm them, but it starts with you!

Luke 11 11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Abuses of the Spirit should not deter us from being filled with the Spirit any more than hypocrisy should deter us from following Jesus.

This special lens allows us to define and refine from time to time, the trajectory of our lives, so that one day, when we stand before Christ, we will get a :thumbs up" for our obedience to His calling.

We should start asking ourselves the question, what am I doing to raise up an even greater generation tomorrow?

Vision: For WEAG's staff, volunteers and congregation to utilize social media responsibly as an evangelistic platform to inform, inspire, and engage all persons in a manner that conveys our love for Jesus and extends His love into the world.

What if you found a vision that was so powerful it pulled you through every obstacle and redeemed your path after every detour?

The Purpose of missions is to partner with and empower all of us to serve! Think of it as the Great Co-Misson!

You can spend your time doing a lot of things that bring you the feeling of being valued, but serving in the church is not only valued by God and those you serve—the results are permanent.

Everyone in the church is gifted to serve.

Eph 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Serve - Encourage - Produce - Protect - Pray

God meets us where we are and how we are, and offers us His unmerited favor.

What would it take to see God's power at work in our church like it was in the early church?
